August 18 - September 4
Local law enforcement agencies across the Metroplex, specifically along SH 114, have joined forces during the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.
While each agency and its officers work in a variety of ways to reduce drinking and driving in their respective areas, August 18th - September 4th is dedicated to increasing public awareness of the dangers involved when an individual makes the decision to drink and drive.
Each City will be focused on reducing the number of serious-injury and fatality accidents. Motorists may see an increased presence of officers as well as messages on TxDOT reader boards.
