As President of the Southlake Police Officers Association (SPOA), I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
While each agency and its officers work in a variety of ways to reduce drinking and driving in their respective areas, August 18th - September 4th is dedicated to increasing public awareness of the dangers involved when an individual makes the decision to drink and drive.
Each City will be focused on reducing the number of serious-injury and fatality accidents. Motorists may see an increased presence of officers as well as messages on TxDOT reader boards.
Thank you to all law enforcement agencies and officers that hold this campaign near and dear and a special thanks to the agencies below for working together on this campaign: Fort Worth PD, Northlake PD, Roanoke, PD, Trophy Club PD, Keller/Westlake PD, Southlake PD, Irving PD, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, Denton County Sheriff's Office and the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.
